Title: On the boundedness of the momentum support of solutions to the relativistic Vlasov-Maxwell system

Abstract: We consider classical solutions of the relativistic Vlasov-Maxwell system. Such solutions were shown (see reference below) to exist as long as the momentum support of the distribution function $f$ remains bounded. We show that the size of the momentum support does not blow up provided that an integrability condition on momentum moments of $f$ is fulfilled. Reference: 'Singularity formation in a collisionless plasma could occur only at high velocities' by Robert T. Glassey and Walter A. Strauss (Arch. Rational Mech. Anal. 92 (1986), 59-90).
